Johor Darul Takzim F.C.

Johor Football Club is a football club based in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia. Currently the club plays in the top league in the country, the Malaysian Super League.

History

In 1972, the club of the sports office of the union Johor State Economic Development Corporation ( Perbadanan Kemajuan Ekonomi Negeri Johor ) was founded. He initially called Perbadanan Kemajuan Ekonomi Negeri Johor FC, ​​short PKENJ FC. Since its inception, the club then played regularly in the local PBJB League and was able to win quite often. In 1988, the team qualified for the national cup for the first time. 1994 and 1995 could win the cup even. 1996 was reached after all, still the final. From 1997, Johor then played in the second league and 2001 ultimately reached the summit in the Super League, from which it descended again immediately. It was not until 2005/ 06 again succeeded in rising to the first division.
