Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities before and after the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001
The investigation Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities before and after the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001 ( American original term to German: Joint investigation before and after the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001, the activities of the secret ) is the name of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the House permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, two subcommittees of the Senate or the House of Representatives of the United States, carried out investigation on the activities of U.S. intelligence agencies in connection with the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001. It began in February 2002 and presented its final report, including the minority votes in December 2002. In December 2013 it was announced that 28 pages of this report have been censored. The Senators Walter Jones and Stephen Lynch calling for their release.
Committee commissioned members
In December 2001, resolutions of the Senate called for an independent investigation, while President George W. Bush a study by the Congressional Intelligence Committee preferred. Vice President Dick Cheney, Tom Daschle and Condoleezza Rice arrived in collusion then this committee, whose establishment was announced on 14 February 2002.
Democratic Senator Bob Graham and Rep. Porter Goss (both from Florida ) and as deputy (actually representative of the minority party ) Republican Senator Richard Shelby ( Alabama) and Democratic Representative Nancy Pelosi (California ) were the chairmen of the committees of inquiry. L. Britt Snider, the former " inspector general" of the CIA (about: Inspector of the CIA), worked as a director for the group of employees of the Committee. He was proposed to by George Tenet.

Result and Review
The report was to contain no information about what President Bush possibly before September 11 knew about the threat, completed and published.
