Jokadu
Jokadu is one of 35 districts - the second highest level of administrative divisions - the West African nation of Gambia. It is one of six districts in the North Bank Region.
According to a calculation by 2013 there live about 19 847 inhabitants, the result of the last published census of 2003 was 17,850.
The name is derived from Jokadu, a former small kingdom.

Population
According to a survey of 1993 ( former census ), the largest ethnic group of the Wolof with a share of around four -tenths, followed by the Fula and Mandinka to. The distribution in detail: 22.6% Mandinka, Fula 24.3%, 37.7%, Wolof, Jola 0.2 %, 0.7 % Serahule, 5.9% Serer, Aku 0%, 0.4% Manjago, 7.8% and 0.4 % Bambara other ethnicities.
