JoKarl Huber

JoKarl Huber ( born February 13, 1902 in Laudenbach, † 1996) (actually Josef Karl Huber) was born in Laudenbach in Tauberfranken glass painter who mainly lived from 1934 in Lake Main Lake Starnberg in the Weilheim -Schongau.

Life

Born and raised in JoKarl Laudenbach, a hamlet, which now belongs to Weikersheim in Tauberfranken. After graduating from the Schubart -Gymnasium Aalen he studied from 1920 to 1926 Law and Philosophy, from 1926 painting at the Art Academy in Munich. There he became a master student of Karl Caspar and Adolf Schinnerer. 1934 his works in Munich were classified as degenerate art. It was followed by a stop painting. From 1934 he lived mainly in Lake Main Lake Starnberg. The community Seehaupt enacted a ban on building on his property. 1936 brought pastor August Uhl his school friend to renovations at the local church of St. Peter and Paul in Weil der Stadt. 1938 married JoKarl the artist Hildegard Sasse. In 1939 he gave the tempter of Jesus in the desert, a stained glass in the church of St. Peter and Paul, the facial features of Adolf Hitler. Because of the image 1941, he was drafted into the army and took part in the Second World War. 1942, the daughter of the couple, Ursula, on the world. In 1944, he fell into British captivity. In 1947 he received the building permit from the municipality Seeshaupt to cultivate his land can. He practiced after 1945 from a teaching position at the Art Academy in Munich. A total of 60 years, he lived with his wife. He mastered not only the stained glass, but used in his works and canvas, paper, bronze and stone.
