Jolanta Dičkutė

Jolanta Dičkutė ( born December 8, 1970 in Kaunas) is a Lithuanian politician. Dičkutė is a member of the European Parliament for the Darbo partija and a member of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe since 2004.

Biography

Dičkutė studied from 1989 at the Medical University of Kaunas and his PhD in 1995 for the Doctor. After she graduated between 1995 and 1996 a Practical general medical training at the Medical University of Kaunas and was trained pediatrician 1996-1998. She graduated between 1998 and 2002 also doctoral studies at the Faculty of Public Health, Medical University of Kaunas and studied from 2000 to 2002 public health at the Nordic School of Public Health in Gothenburg ( Sweden).

Dičkutė was 2001-2004 Coordinator of the district Kaunas State for Health Project Educational Institution " Regional Development Agency Kaunas " the World Bank in Lithuania and was from 2003 to 2004 Coordinator of the projects of the clinics of the Medical University of Kaunas. Between 2002 and 2004 she was also a lecturer at the Department of preventive medicine at the Medical University of Kaunas.

Dičkutė is the Council of the Darbo partija member since 2004 ( Labour Party ) and executive since 2003 secretary of the Health Committee of the Labour Party. She was also from 1997 to 2002 editor of the Pharmaceutical Journal " Pharmacon ".
