Jolie (magazine)

Jolie (French "beautiful", "pretty" ) is a German women's magazine.

The magazine, initially only available in the pocket format, since 2013 also by the pad format, deals with the themes of fashion, beauty, lifestyle, fitness and partnership. It is published once a month.

The first edition appeared in 2003. By mid 2009, Jolie was from Axel Springer Media House, Munich, edited, a subsidiary of Axel Springer AG. Accompanying the magazine ran the Axel Springer Media House since 2004 to online presence. In July 2009, the title to the OZ publishing house was sold, the Axel Springer Media House was dissolved. Jolie appears at Vision Media, a subsidiary of OZ Verlag. The distribution of the journal is done by BPV media sales.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Jolie - brand in 2013, the look of both the magazine and the website was revised, also new features are offered. So the magazine is the first time available as an e -Mag. It was also working on an app that " Jolie - View," is made possible with the Augmented Reality.

The chief editor is Anja Lochner.

While in the first four issues of the Jolie unknown female models could be seen on the cover, since the March 2004 edition adorns each a female star, the front page of the magazine. Heidi Klum was the first known face on the Jolie - cover.

In the fourth quarter of 2012 the average circulation was IVW at 282 513 copies.
