Jöllenbecker Mühlenbach

The Jöllenbecker mill creek is a left tributary of the Locust creek in the northeast of the German Federal State of North Rhine -Westphalia.

Geography

The lake has a total length of 9.9 km. The catchment area covers a part of the Ravens Mulde between Aa and Else. The body of water rises near Joellenbeck to Bielefeld city area during nail wood and flows Schildesche in the Johannisbach ( river kilometer 13.5 ) and in the Upper Lake. With investment of Johannisbach - Umflut that around carries the water of the locust creek and Jöllenbecker mill creek along the north bank of the upper lake, also the Jöllenbecker mill creek from the upper lake was separated and has now led directly to the new river bed of locust creek.

The water flows through on its way from the source to the mouth of the following municipalities:

  • Bielefeld
  • Spengemann
  • Bielefeld
  • Enger
  • Herford
  • Bielefeld
