Jommeke

Jommeke is the title of a Flemish comic book series of the Belgian comic artist Jef Nys. On 30 October 1955, the first story was published in a Catholic weekly newspaper. Animated series

1982, a 13-part animated series about the comic book characters under the name Les Aventures de Gil et Jo was produced in France. The name choice was based on the French name of the comic series, Gil et Jo. In Germany, this animated series ran from 1989 to 1990 at Tele 5 under the title Gil and Joe.

Newspaper publication
