Jon and Vangelis

Jon & Vangelis was a collaboration between the British singer Jon Anderson (of the band Yes) and Vangelis Papathanasiou the Greek keyboardist (ex Aphrodite 's Child) in the field of electronic music.

From 1980 to 1991 she played one of four albums and had with I Hear You Now and I'll Find My Way Home Tophits. Anderson wrote the lyrics and Vangelis composed the music.

The two artists had to get to know the mid- 1970s in the British progressive rock scene. Vangelis was shortly after Rick Wakeman left the band as a keyboardist with Yes in the conversation. Vangelis wanted to organize any group in the end though. Anderson was on two albums by Vangelis as a guest singer represented ( Heaven and Hell in 1975 and See You Later 1980), on another Vangelis album ( Opera Sauvage 1979) he played the harp.
