Jon Finch

Jon Finch ( born March 2, 1940 as John L. Finch in Caterham, Surrey, † December 28 2012 in Hastings ) was a British actor.

Life

He had his biggest film success with his role in Roman Polanski's film Macbeth representations in 1971 as Macbeth and in Alfred Hitchcock's Frenzy in 1972, in which he played a man who is wrongly accused of murder. Self Finch had in films like Death on the Nile and in numerous BBC television productions. Last we saw him in 2005 in the role of the Patriarch of Jerusalem, Heraclius of Caesarea, in Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven.

1974 Finch has been proposed for the role of James Bond in Live and Let Die, but he declined the offer. Originally Finch should include the role of Kane in Ridley Scott's Alien - take the sinister creature from another world (1979 ), but had to because of a life-threatening bronchitis after 2 days of filming from the production resign and was replaced by John Hurt.

On December 28, 2012 Finch was found lifeless in his apartment after friends and family members themselves had worried about his health.
