Jon Ola Sand

Jon Ola Sand is a Norwegian television producer who works for the Norwegian public broadcaster Norsk Rikskringkasting ( NRK).

Life

Sandy has over 15 years experience of working with big productions and co-productions for NRK and TV 2, and independent production companies. Sandy is a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Sandy organized and produced many different programs such as the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, the Norwegian Film Award and the Melodi Grand Prix, the Norwegian preselection for the Euro Vision Song Contest.

In 2010, sand production manager ( Executive Producer ) of the Euro Vision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo.

On 26 November 2010 sand became the supervisor of the Euro Vision Song Contest after Svante Stockselius had resigned from the function. He started on 1 January 2011 officially as a supervisor.
