Jonah Hill

Jonah Hill ( born December 20, 1983 in Los Angeles, born Jonah Hill Feldstein ) is an American actor and screenwriter.

Life and achievements

Hill studied acting at the New School University. He made his debut alongside Jason Schwartzman, Mark Wahlberg, Jew Law and Dustin Hoffman in a small supporting role in the comedy I Heart Huckabees from the year 2004.

For his role in S.H.I.T. - The High School GmbH (2006) was nominated for a 2007 Hill Teen Choice Award. In the comedy Knocked Up (2006) he played a friend of the main character Ben Stone, played by Seth Rogen. Together with roe he also starred in This is the end. In Superbad (2007), he became one of the main roles. He is also active as a screenwriter.

After many years he was almost exclusively seen in comedies, he gained special attention by a role in sports drama to win The Art - Moneyball, for which he received an Academy Award in 2012 and a Golden Globe nomination. For his role in The Wolf of Wall Street in 2014, he was nominated for an Oscar as best supporting actor, but had to concede defeat Jared Leto.
