Jonas Rasmussen

Jonas Rasmussen (born 28 October 1977 in Aarhus ) is a Danish badminton player.

Sports career

After three titles at youth level in Denmark, he made the first time in 1995 with two European Vice Champion titles attracted international attention at the European Junior Championships. In 1997 he won the EBU Circuit, after winning this season's International Championship of the Czech Republic, Hungary and the Netherlands. In the following years he became more and more the doubles and mixed specialists. In 2004 he took part in the Olympics. In doubles, he retired with Lars Paaske in the second round of in Mixed he lost with Rikke Olsen playing for bronze that finished fourth place.
