Jonas Reckermann
Jonas Recker Mann ( born May 26, 1979 in Rheine ) is a German former volleyball player. With four European championship titles ( 2002, 2004, 2011 and 2012 ), six tournament wins on the FIVB World Tour and five titles at the German championships (2001, 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2011 ), he is one of the most successful German Beach volleyball players. His greatest achievements were winning the 2009 World Cup and the gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London with his partner Julius Brink.
Career
The volleyball games Recker learned man - first in the hall - the TV Jahn Rheine. From 1997 to 2000 he played at USC Munster and then the SV Bayer Wuppertal. He was U -21 Beach - European champion in 2001 with David Klemperer. From 2001 to 2005 Recker man played very successfully with Markus Dieckmann among other things on the FIVB World Tour. From 2009 played Recker man with Julius Brink and was with this in his first season together directly champion in Stavanger. Five months after winning the Olympic gold medal ended Recker man in January 2013 for health reasons his career.

November 13, 2011 Jonas Recker man won on the TV show TV total diving in the category " double " together with Hambüchen synchronized diving with a double somersault from the five - meter platform.
