Jonatha Brooke
Jonatha Brooke ( born January 23, 1964) is an American folk singer and songwriter.
First, she appeared as part of The Story in appearance. Shortly thereafter, as Jonatha Brooke & The Story before they completely appeared as soloist. They set to music, among other previously unpublished texts from the estate of Woody Guthrie. Guthrie's daughter Nora had invited the musician to browse the archive. She liked especially the poetic love songs like "My Sweet and Bitter Bowl" or spiritual texts like "My Battle", which she recorded in February 2008 for the record, The Works.
In January 1996, Jonatha Brooke was for a few showcases in Germany. In May 1996 and in the years 2003 and 2009 she was in this country on tour.
