Jonathan Adams (British actor)

Jonathan Adams ( born February 14, 1931 in Northampton, † 13 June 2005 in London ) was a British actor.

Adams was actually a trained painter and studied at the Chelsea Art School and at the London University. After his military service in a medical unit of the Royal Air Force, he taught in his home town of Northampton. About the organization of student theaters, he came by chance to the professional acting and worked as a performer of various productions in London's West End. He also starred in various film and television productions. He became internationally known in 1975 for his role of Dr. Everett Scott in Richard O'Brien and Jim Sharman's cult film The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Jonathan Adams died in London at the age of 74 of a stroke.
