Jonathan Blondel

Jonathan Blondel ( born April 3, 1984 in Ploegsteert ) is a Belgian footballer who plays for FC Pro League Bruges in the Belgian Jupiler.

Playing career

The beginnings

Jonathan Blondel started his career as a football player in 2001 at the Belgian first division club Excelsior Mouscron, for which he already played in the youth. After a great season in which he came up with 17 appearances with just 17 years, the hopeful talent has been committed by the English first division club Tottenham Hotspur. Over the next year and a half, however, he was able to prevail there at any time and only came to two scoreless inserts.

FC Bruges

In January 2004, Jonathan Blondel returned to the unsuccessful time in England back in his Belgian homeland and signed a long-term contract with the Belgian top club FC Bruges. Even after half a year he was able to celebrate with Bruges the first title - they won the national cup.
