Jonathan Brownlee

Jonathan Brownlee ( born April 30, 1990 in Leeds ) is a British professional triathlete, U23 World Champion (2010 ) Triathlon World Champion on the sprint distance ( 2010, 2011 and 2012), acting Triathlon World Champion on the short distance (2012 ) and Olympia third (2012 ).

Career

In France, Jonathan Brownlee goes under the Club Championship Series Lyonnaise des Eaux in 2010 for the club EC Sartrouville as an elite legionary at the start and proved equal to the opening triathlon in Dunkirk 23 May 2010 his class: he won the gold medal in the individual results and secured his club so that the 2nd place in the club championship.

With his older brother Alistair Brownlee, winner of the Dextro Energy World Championship Series in 2009, he is BT ( British Telecom) Ambassador of the Olympic 2012 project.

Brownlee attended Bradford Grammar School and studied at the University of Leeds history.

In August 2012, he was at the Olympic Games in London by third parties. In October, he secured in New Zealand with the second place in the final race of the 2012 season the world title in 2012 at the Olympic distance.

Sporting successes

In the five years from 2006 to 2010 Jonathan Brownlee took part in 22 ITU competitions and achieved 14 top ten places in total, including 5 gold medals.
