Jonathan Drouin (born 27 March 1995 Sainte -Agathe -des- Monts, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player on the position of the attacker, who is under contract since 2011 junior at the Halifax Mooseheads in the Ligue de hockey majeur du Québec.

Drouin began his career with the Lions de Lac Saint -Louis in the unterklassigen Junior League QMAAA where it due to its high yield of 58 point scorer points struck in his first season 2010/ 11 in 38 games this season. In the subsequent play-offs Drouin led his team to the championship of the league. So the team was qualified for the tournament for the Telus Cup, which is awarded annually to the best team in Canada to Midget AAA level. There Drouin won the bronze medal with his team.
For the first time represented Drouin selecting his home province of Quebec at the Canada Winter Games 2011 in Halifax. There, in the extension of the semi-final the decisive goal he managed to enter the final of his team. After a loss to the selection of British Columbia in the final Drouin won the silver medal with Team Québec.
The following season, he initially remained in Lac Saint- Louis and was able to record there to 22 games a total of 22 goals and 53 points scorer. He was then appointed to the cadre of the Halifax Mooseheads in the Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec, who had previously selected him second position in the Midget Draft of LHJMQ. Making its debut December 13, 2011 go Drouin two assists, including the decisive pass to the winner of the game. In the quarter- finals of the play-offs succeeded the Mooseheads to turn the series against the Remparts de Québec after a 0-3 down yet. This Drouin scored the decisive seventh game in overtime the winning goal for 5:4, which eventually brought the Mooseheads in the next round. At the end of the play-offs Drouin finished behind his teammate Nathan MacKinnon with 26 points in sixth place in the scorer statistics. At the same time he gave so many templates like no other rookie.
After he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2013 in the first round, third overall position of the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Canadians, signed in July 2013 a three-year entry-level contract with the Bolts.
In his first international tournament, the World U -17 Hockey Challenge, 2012, Jonathan Drouin was for the selection of Québec on the ice and reached with the team to sixth place.
For Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament 2012 Drouin was finally appointed for the first time in the squad of Team Canada. With a victory against the Finnish selection Drouin won the team gold medal, thereby pass him during the tournament five assists. Also in the U20 World Cup in 2013 was Drouin in the squad of the Canadian team. After winning the Group B Canada, however only reached fourth place after a defeat against the USA and Russia. Drouin scored two goals and two assists.
