Jonathan Jackson (actor)

Jonathan Stevens Jackson ( born May 11, 1982 in Orlando, Florida ) is an American actor, musician and songwriter.

Life

Jackson was born in May 1982 in Orlando, Florida, USA, son of a doctor and a housewife. He has two older siblings: his brother, Richard Lee Jackson is also an actor, his sister Candace Jackson Mayhugh is a lawyer.

Jackson is married to actress Lisa Vultaggio since June 21, 2002. The couple has two sons and a daughter. The family lived in Los Angeles and in the U.S. state of Washington, until she moved to California in 2009. In 2012, the family has occurred in the Orthodox Church.

Career

General Hospital

In 1993, Jackson took over the role of Lucky Spencer, son of the legendary love pair Luke and Laura Spencer, in the television series General Hospital, which was broadcast at this time for 30 years. In May 1999, he then decided to leave General Hospital. His parents series, the actors Anthony Geary and Genie Francis, Jackson used a very intimate relationship and remained them even after his departure remain connected.

After more than ten years, it surprised followers of the series in September 2009 with the message that Jackson will return to General Hospital in the role of Lucky, after the character in the meantime by Jacob Young ( 2000-2003) and Greg Vaughan ( 2003-2009 ) had been played. Music

Together with his brother, Richard Lee Jackson, he plays in the band Enation. Jonathan is the lead singer of the band, wrote many of the songs and plays guitar. Individual songs are also used in films and television series, in which he participates. One of the biggest gigs the band had as part of the USC Concert, which organized the youth series One Tree Hill to honor American troops in Iraq. Before Enation he assumed the same functions in the band Scarlet Road, next to his brother Richard and his father Ricky Lee Jackson and his uncle Gary played along; Scarlet Road there was an album titled Clash (1997).

Prices

For his role in General Hospital, he was nominated six times for a Daytime Emmy Award and received three times the price (1995, 1998 and 1999) - each as " outstanding young actors a Drama Series ". For the same role he was also nominated three times for a Young Artist Award.
