Jonathan Kennard

Jonathan Kennard ( born June 26, 1985 in Tunbridge Wells, England ) is a British racing driver.

Career

After Kennard had his motorsport career started in karting in 1998 and until 2000 was active in the sport, he went in 2001 and 2002 in Club Racing. In 2003 he moved to Formula racing and was sixth in the Formula Palmer Audi. In addition, he won the fall championship of Formula Palmer Audi. In 2004, he remained in the Formula Palmer Audi and won the championship.

In 2005 he moved to Alan Docking Racing in the British Formula 3 Championship. He won a race in the national standings and finished the season in third place of the national class. In 2006 he stayed with Alan Docking Racing and competed in the regular championship. With a fourth place as best result he finished in twelfth place overall. In 2007 he moved to Räikkönen Robertson Racing. With a win, he finished sixth in the championship.

2008 Kennard attended any racing series. Instead, he graduated in November aerodynamics testing for the Formula 1 team Williams. 2009 saw Kennard in the International Formula Master. As his team, Team JVA, had already dropped out after a race in the series, Kennard was first again without cockpit. In the overall standings, he was 14 then he took for different teams participate in four of six Superleague Formula weekend of the season. His best finish was a fifth place.

In 2010, Kennard part in two races of the Le Mans Series and finished 15th in the LMP2 standings. He also made ​​his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
