Jonathan LaPaglia

Jonathan LaPaglia ( born August 31, 1969 in Adelaide, South Australia ) is an Australian actor, best known for his starring roles in the television series Seven Days - Seven Days and The District - use in Washington.

Life

Jonathan LaPaglia first graduated in medicine at the University of Adelaide and practiced three years as a physician in Adelaide, Sydney and London. In 1994 he moved to New York where he attended the Circle In The Square Theatre School.

His father is Italian and his mother Dutch. He is the youngest of three brothers. His eldest brother is the actor Anthony LaPaglia. LaPaglia lives with his wife, actress Ursula Brooks, and their daughter in Santa Monica, California.

His first role was LaPaglia in the Dick Wolf series New York Undercover, in the third season played the Det Tommy McNamara. From 1998 to 2001 he worked in the science fiction series Seven Days - The gateway currently holds the lead role of Frank Parker. This was followed by a longer commitment as Det Kevin Debreno from the second season of the series The District - use in Washington.

In addition to individual guest appearances in further crime series like Criminal Intent - Criminal Intent, NCIS or Castle LaPaglia also had roles in several films. He had a long series rolls again in Windfall as Dave Park and Cold Case - No victim is ever forgotten as ADA Curtis Bell. 2007 LaPaglia played in the award winning series The Sopranos both an acting role as well as yourself
