Jonathan Magonet

Jonathan Magonet ( born August 2, 1942 in London ) is a British doctorate in theology and rabbis.

Magonet was Director ( Principal ) of the Leo Baeck College of Jewish Studies in London ( to 2005) and Vice President of the "World Union for Progressive Judaism ." He was a pioneer in the literary approach to biblical texts. He is very involved in Jewish- Christian dialogue, and in dialogue between Jews and Muslims.
