Jonathan Nolan

Jonathan " Jonah " Nolan (born 1976 in London, United Kingdom) is a British screenwriter. He is the brother of director Christopher Nolan and has been involved in the films. He is the inventor of the television series Person of Interest.

Career

Jonathan Nolan attended Loyola Academy in Wilmotte in the U.S. state of Illinois. There he laid in 1994 from his exams. Later he graduated from the famous Georgetown University in Washington, DC, which he left in 1999.

Nolan was first known to a wider audience by appearing in the 2000 film Memento, directed by his brother. His screenplay for this work aroused in the art of attention and received an Oscar nomination for best original screenplay. He wrote the screenplay for the film, released in 2006 Prestige - Master of Magic, in which his brother again directed. The final breakthrough came when a new collaboration with his brother and the screenplay for the excellent with two Oscars Batman sequel The Dark Knight.
