Jonathan Quick
Jonathan Douglas Quick ( born January 21, 1986 in Milford, Connecticut) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender who stands since 2007 with the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League contract.
Career
Jonathan Quick started his career as a hockey player in the team of Avon Old Farms High School, where he was active from 2002 to 2005. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 in the third round than a total of 72 players from the Los Angeles Kings. First, however, the goalkeeper stood for two years for the team from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between the posts, before he made his debut for Los Angeles in the National Hockey League in the 2007/ 08 season. Overall, he came three times in the NHL to use it and reached a Gegentorschnitt of 3.84. The rest of the season he spent with the Reading Royals in the ECHL and the Manchester Monarchs in the American Hockey League.
In the following season Quick came first with the Monarchs in the AHL for use. During the season, he was appointed to the NHL squad of Kings, was used in 44 NHL games and won the regular place of Erik Ersberg and Jason LaBarbera, who was later transferred to Vancouver. In the 44 games his Gegentorschnitt was 2.48 and get him four shutouts.
