Joona Toivio

Joona Toivio ( born March 10, 1988 in Sipoo ) is a Finnish football players. The defender currently plays for Djurgårdens IF in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Career

Joona Toivio began his career in the youth at HJK Helsinki, before he moved to the Netherlands for AZ Alkmaar. He did not come for the reserve team to use, but in the first team. He was thus borrowed for two seasons at the Velsener second division Telstar. At the start of the 2010 season, he signed up for four years at the Swedish first division club Djurgårdens IF. For Finland U -21 Toivio came so far to ten inserts.
