Joonas Kolkka

Joonas Kolkka ( born September 28, 1974 in Lahti ) is a Finnish former football player. Kolkka played at various clubs throughout Europe. His position was left wing.

Career

In his youth Kolkka played for his hometown club FC Lahti Reipas, but soon moved to the Finnish first division Myllykosken Pallo -47. After he won the club from Kouvola Finnish Cup, he went at the age of 21 in the Dutch Eredivisie to Willem II Tilburg. After two years, in the 1998/99 season, he went free transfer to PSV Eindhoven.

In the 2001 /02 season Kolkka moved to Panathinaikos, where he came up with a hit in ten inserts.

Once again two years later in the season 2003/ 04 Kolkka moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach in the German Bundesliga. Here, he scored two goals in 28 games and had three assists. As in Eindhoven and Panathinaikos he wore in Gladbach will wear the number 11

After only one year in the Kolkka Bundesliga in 2004 moved to English club Crystal Palace, which still was playing in the Premier League. For London he scored three goals in 23 games.

A year later Kolkka moved back to the Dutch Eredivisie ADO Den Haag, where he was able to achieve eight goals in 31 missions. Then Feyenoord Rotterdam became aware of him in the summer of 2006 and signed him a free transfer. This season, he came up 22 times and scored three goals.

For the season 2007/ 08 changed Kolkka within the Dutch Eredivisie free transfer to NAC Breda.

In the summer of 2011, he made ​​his comeback at Willem II in the Dutch second league in 14 league games scoring one goal. After a stint with the Texas Dutch Lions in the United States in 2012, he finished his career. With his Dutch wife he settled in the Netherlands; Here he began a coaching education and worked in Eindhoven as assistant coach of the C- youth of PSV.
