Joop van Nellen

Johannes Cornelis van Nellen ( born March 15, 1910 in Delft, † 14 November 1992 ) was a Dutch football player. The striker was in the 1920s and 1930s when DHC Delft active. Between 1928 and 1937 he played 27 times in the Dutch national team.

Life and career

The left winger was only 18 years old and played with the DHC still in the Dutch second division, when he was appointed in 1928 by the Selection Committee of the KNVB for the game against Italy on December 2 in the cadre of Oranje.
