Jopie van Oudtshoorn

Jopie van Oudtshoorn ( born February 5, 1976) is a former South African sprinter who specialized in the 400 -meter run.

The greatest success of his career was winning the bronze medal in the 4 x 400 meters relay at the IAAF 1999 World Championships in Seville. The South African team had in the lineup Jopie van Oudtshoorn, Hendrick Mokganyetsi, Adriaan Botha and Arnaud Malherbe min while reaching the target in national record time of 3:00,20 just as the fourth. Originally victorious American squadron was however disqualified for a doping offense runner Antonio Pettigrew her, so that the South African quartet aufrückte one rank in the standings.
