The Jordan -Hare Stadium is a football stadium on the campus of Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. It serves as the venue for home games of the college teams Auburn Tigers. The stadium has a capacity of 87 451. Was named the stadium after Ralph Jordan, the most successful football coach of the university, and Cliff Hare, a member of the first football team of Auburn University.

History

The stadium was built in 1939 with a capacity of 7,290 seats. The original name was called Auburn Stadium and in 1949 replaced by Cliff Hare Stadium. At this time the capacity was already 21,500. 1951 Ralph Jordan was coach of the Tigers and this was still 1973, when the stadium was named after him.
