Jordan Spence
Jordan Spence (born 24 May 1990 in London ) is an English footballer who currently holds a contract with West Ham United.
Career
Association
Spence moved to the youth department of West Ham United in 2004. In April 2006, he signed a contract for the second team and made his debut in the same month for the West Ham United Reserves. In November 2008, he was loaned to third-tier club Leyton Orient. There he made his debut on 29 November 2008 at the FA Cup. This was initially his only game for Leyton Orient as he returned early January 2009 to West Ham United. But we agreed on an extension of the loan until the end of the season. January 24, 2009 Spence first played in the Football League One.
In August 2009, he was awarded for another six months in the second division promoted Scunthorpe United and finally returned in January 2010, returned to West Ham United. There he was appointed captain of the second team. Spence played in various junior national teams of England. He was captain of the U-16, U -17 and U- 18th In 2005 he won the U -16 Victory Shield the. He captained the U-17 team to the U -17 World Cup 2007 in South Korea. In the group match against Brazil on 24 August 2007, he scored in stoppage time for a 2-1 victory and secured the English a place in the knockout stage and the first British victory over Brazil in a FIFA tournament. The U -18 team remained unbeaten in the 2007/ 08 season under the Captain Spence.
On 14 October 2007 he made his debut against Romania in the U- 19 team. He participated in the U-19 European Championship in 2009 partly in Ukraine, in which he failed with his team until the final on the hosts.
On 28 March 2011 it was first used in the match against Iceland in the English U-21 national team.
