Jordie Benn

Jordie Benn ( born July 26, 1987 in Victoria, British Columbia) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player standing since 2010 with the Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League under contract and runs parallel to their farm team Texas Stars in the American Hockey League. His brother Jamie Benn is also a professional hockey player.

Career

Jordie Benn began his career as a hockey player in the youth team Peninsula Panthers. From there he moved to the traditional Junior League British Columbia Hockey League, where he was active for the Victoria Salsa or Victoria Grizzlies 2005-2008. Also in his hometown graduated from the defender his first stop in professional hockey, as he prepares for the Victoria Salmon Kings aground in the 2008 /09 season in the ECHL. In the following season he reached with the Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League, the playoff final for the Miron Cup, but lost in this with the Americans the Rapid City Rush with 2:4 victories.

For the 2010/11 season Benn was hired by the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.
