Jörg Freimuth

Jörg Freimuth ( born September 10, 1961 in Rathenow ) is a former German track and field athlete and Olympic medal winner.

He won - starting for the GDR - at the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980 with a personal best of 2.31 meters the bronze medal in the high jump. At the European Indoor Championships 1981, he came in at number six. In the European Cup in 1981, he finished fourth at the World Cup in the same year a third party.

1981 and 1982 he was East German indoor champion in 1982 GDR champion in the high jump. After he finished his sports career.
