Jörg Ritzerfeld

Jörg Ritzer Field ( born June 28, 1983 in Suhl ) is a German ski jumper and sports soldier.

Career

He jumps for the WSV Oberhof 05 In December 2005, he was injured while training for the upcoming Four Hills Tournament at the knee. Initially, only a cartilage injury was suspected, but then it turned out that he has but suffered a cruciate ligament injury. In January 2006, he had to undergo surgery and could take several months hiatus to start training. In the season 2006/ 07 he was able to participate like never before with so much success at the World Cup. In the Winter Universiade in 2009 in Harbin (China ), he won the bronze medal in the team competition of the 90m ski jump.

As a sports soldier Ritzer field belongs on the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr in Oberhof. In March 2006 he started at the Ansbach University a bachelor's degree in International Management, a course of study that has been adapted to the HS Ansbach and designed for top athletes.

On 31 January 2011, he completed his last competition at the Winter Universiade in Erzurum Turkey, which he finished in 10th place.
