Jörg Scherbe

Jörg Shard (born 19 October 1977 in Cottbus ) is a former German professional footballer.

Life

In his youth, Jörg Shard was active at FC Energie Cottbus. At age 16, joined the A- youth of the Bundesliga KFC Uerdingen 05 After Uerdingen was relegated from the Bundesliga in 1996, gave Shard on matchday 32 of the first second-division season his professional debut. He came off the bench for the second half and sent off with a red card later. In the subsequent season Shard came already on 20 missions and scoring two goals. 1998/99 shard was finally starting players and he missed only one game day, he scored five goals, including three penalty goals. At the end of the season Uerdingen dismounted in the Football Regional.

Shard then left the Krefeld and signed for Bundesliga side TSV 1860 Munich. However, he injured himself in the preparation and did not get there in turn. He only played twice for the second team and joined in October of the same year to the second division Energie Cottbus. With the FC Energie Cottbus he played two years in the league before he moved to his first professional club KFC Uerdingen 05 in the Regionalliga Nord. Within the Regionalliga Nord Jörg Shard moved to season 2005/ 06 for a year to Rot- Weiß Oberhausen. After his stint in Oberhausen he joined the SV Straelen, in which he played his last game against Schwarz-Weiß Essen on 30 April 2008.

Jörg Shard was sports director and assistant coach at the Niederrhein division VfR Krefeld- Fischeln. He finished this commitment for professional reasons in October 2010.
