Jorge Alberto Mendonça

Jorge Alberto Mendonça ( born September 19, 1938 in Luanda / Angola, was still a Portuguese colony ) is a Portuguese- Angolan footballer.

Career

Mendonça began his career at Sporting Lisbon in 1956. From 1956 to 1958 he played for SC Braga and then moved to Deportivo La Coruña where he stood in the years 1957/1958 under contract. For the 1958 season, he moved to Atlético Madrid and won the Spanish Cup in 1966 and the Spanish Cup in 1960, 1961 and 1965 there. In 1962, he won the European Cup with Atletico Cup Winners' Cup.

1967 moved Mendonça to FC Barcelona, where he played for three years and in 1968 the Championship title. In 1970, he finished his career with RCD Mallorca.
