Jorge Azanza

Jorge Azanza Soto ( born June 16, 1982 in Alsasua ) is a Spanish cyclist.

Career

Jorge Azanza began his professional career in 2005 at the Spanish Professional Continental team Kaiku, after winning the overall classification of the Vuelta a Cordoba in the previous year and reached a stage win and a second place in the stage Bidasoa Itzulia.

In the Mallorca Challenge 2006 he landed in the unofficial standings to eighth place. In the Trofeo Calvia he was doing sixth. In 2007 he then moved to the Basque Euskaltel -Euskadi team. In the same year he went for the first time in the Tour de France at the start, which he finished as 82. In 2011 he drove the Giro d' Italia and the Vuelta a España and 2012 he participated for the second time in the Tour de France in part.
