Jorge Franco (writer)

Jorge Franco Ramos (born 1962 in Medellín, Colombia) is a Colombian writer.

Life

Jorge Franco studied literature at the Pontifical University Xaveriana and film at the London Film School. He then took part in Medellín at the Literary Workshop of the public library. In 1996 he debuted with the love story Maldito amor as a writer. 2014 Franco was honored for El mundo de afuera the Premio de Novela Alfaguara.
