Jorge Montt Glacier

The Jorge Montt Glacier is a - flowing into the sea Direction and calving glaciers in the Aysen region of Chile, south of the town of Caleta Tortel. It lies at the northern end of the glacier area of Campo de Hielo Sur ( where there is also growing glacier), the National Park Bernardo O'Higgins. The mouth of the Río Pascua is near the point where the calving of the glaciers.

Was published in 2011 time-lapse images from the glacier - he had been photographed several times a day in 2010 and 2011. During this time he was about half a mile shorter.
