Jorge Nicolares

Jorge Nicolares ( born March 15, 1905) was an Uruguayan boxer.

Nicolares, which is listed as Julio César Nicolari, appeared as a Boxer at the Summer Olympic Games in 1924 in the Boxwettbewerben at lightweight on. In round one he defeated Ernests Gutmanis. This marked the first victory of a Uruguayan boxer in the Olympics. Subsequently, he was defeated in his second-round bout on July 17, 1924 against Frenchman Jean Tholey. He finished ninth.
