Jorge Vergara

Jorge Carlos Vergara Madrigal ( born March 3, 1955 in Guadalajara, Jalisco ) is a Mexican entrepreneur.

Jorge Vergara founded in 1991 which specializes in the sale of food supplement products company Omnilife SA de CV. Based in Guadalajara company now has offices in 18 countries. Jorge Vergara has the football clubs Chivas Guadalajara in Mexico and CD Chivas USA in Major League Soccer. From March 2003 to April 2011, he had also the Costa Rican football club Deportivo Saprissa.

Biography

Jorge Vergara initially worked as a mechanic, then as a text translator and then as a car salesman until he became deputy director of a small company called Casolar. As this 1981 in the Mexican financial crisis bankrupt, he tried his hand as a taco vendor. Then he opened an Italian restaurant.
