José Alirio Contreras

José Alirio Contreras Vásquez ( born March 21, 1978) is a Venezuelan road cyclist.

José Contreras was 2006 Third in the road race in the Venezuelan Championship. In the 2008 season he won one stage in the Vuelta Internacional al Estado Trujillo, the Vuelta a Yacambu - Lara and the Vuelta a Guatemala in itself. He was also third overall in the Vuelta al Táchira. In 2009, Contreras first overall in the Vuelta a Yacambu - Lara. He also won a section at the Vuelta a Santa Cruz de Mora and then a stage of the Vuelta a Guatemala.
