José Antonio Rodríguez (musician)

José Antonio Rodríguez ( born March 28, 1964 in Córdoba, Spain ) is a Spanish flamenco guitarist, composer and music professor.

He won in the 1980s, several national awards, including the 1982 Primer Premio para Guitarra Flamenca de Concierto at the XI Certamen Internacional de Guitarra Flamenca in Jerez de la Frontera and the 1986 Premio Concurso Nacional de Ramón Montoya at Arte Flamenco.

Professorship

In 1984, he became the youngest professor of flamenco guitar at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Córdoba is only 20 years.

Compositions

He composed pieces for movies, television, ballet and orchestra.
