José Dominguez

José Manuel Martins Dominguez ( born February 16, 1974 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese football player.

The career of the left-footed midfielder Dominguez began at Benfica. During his engagement at Benfica he played on loan at Portuguese clubs SU Sintrense and AD Fafe. In 1994 he moved to the English club Birmingham City. The next stop was Sporting Lisbon. For the 1997/1998 season, he moved to England again, this time to Tottenham Hotspur, where he remained until January 2001. Then he signed for Bundesliga side 1.FC Kaiserslautern. In 2004 he moved free transfer to Al- Ahli SC to Qatar. Even in the current season, followed by a transfer to Brazil to CR Vasco da Gama, where he played until August 2005.

On March 14, 2012 Dominguez was appointed coach of the Portuguese first division club União Leiria.
