José Escolástico Marín

José Marín Escolastico (* Ciudad San Vicente, † 1846 ibid ) was from February 1, 1842 to April 14, 1842 Supreme Director of El Salvador.

Life

His family lived on the hacienda Sihuatepeque. When the uprising Nonualcos early 1833 his brother Florencio was firing squad at the Hacienda. His sister married Matilde Anastasio Aquino Martir San Carlos. He was a member of the Partido Conservador

Presidency

José Marín Escolastico presented on February 1, 1842, the La Paz Department, and the Partidos de Olocuilta, under the administrative authority of the city of San Vicente. Opico was released from the administrative authority of the department of Cuscatlan and placed under the administrative control of the department of San Salvador.

He was to plunge while attempting Eugenio Aguilar Gonzalez Batres killed.
