José Eugenio Ellauri

José Eugenio Ellauri Obes (* November 15, 1834 in Montevideo, † May 27, 1894 ) was a Uruguayan politician.

The son of the president of the first Constituent Assembly of Uruguay, José Ellauri Longinus was, initially in 1868 from March 1 to March 8, Secretary of State under President Lorenzo Batlle. Later was the Partido Colorado nationals Ellauri then from 15 February 1873 to the January 15, 1875 President of Uruguay.
