José Manuel Ochotorena

José Manuel Ochotorena Santa Cruz ( born January 16, 1961 in San Sebastián ) is a retired Spanish football goalkeeper and football coach.

Life and career

Currently, Ochotorena Goalkeeper Coach at FC Valencia. From there he was in 2004, he came with his Spanish counterpart Rafael Benitez for Liverpool FC, but returned in July 2007. Prior to his time at Liverpool he was also goalkeeper coach of the Spanish national team. As a player Ochotorena at Real Madrid, Valencia, Tenerife CD, CD Logrones and Racing Santander was under contract. He made a play for the Spanish national football team and participated in the World Cup in Italy in 1990 as a substitute goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta for some. At the World Cup he came to no use and Spain in the second round of arbitration.
