José María Lemus

José María Lemus Lopez ( born July 22, 1911 in Puerto de la Unión, † April 1, 1993 in New York) was lieutenant colonel of the FAES and September 14, 1956 to October 26, 1960 President of El Salvador.

Life

The mother of José María López Lemus was Dominga Lopez. His sister was Marta López Lemus. José María López Lemus was married to Coralia Párraga and had four daughters: Elena, Maria Cristina, Ana Margarita and Carmen, and four sons, Jose Maria, Julio, Orlando and Rodrigo.
