José Ortiz Bernal

José Ortiz Bernal (* August 4, 1977 in Almería ) is a Spanish footballer who plays for UD Almería División in the Spanish Primera.

Playing career

The beginnings

José Ortiz began his career as a footballer in 1996 when amateur club CD Roquetas, he left after just one season again, to go to his hometown club, UD Almería. There he could in two seasons a goal in 20 games to achieve the second division relegation. He then went for a season to Italy, where he could not prevail at Ravenna Calcio however.

Back in Almería

After returning to his former club where he became a regular player and could make his qualities as a striker to the test. In the 2001/2002 season to return to professional football succeeded in 2006/2007 did the initial rise in the Primera División.

After a total of 12 years in professional football and over 300 league appearances in Almería his contract was not renewed.
