Josef KarlÃk
Josef Karlík ( born March 19, 1928 in Kroměříž, † October 30, 2009 in Brno ) was a Czech actor and theater educator.
After attending high school Karlík attended the Conservatory (from 1947: Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts Brno ), which he successfully completed in 1951. From 1954 he worked at the theater in Brno as an actor and teacher. In addition, he also appeared in several film and television roles that made him nationally known.
2009 in memory of the Thalia Award for lifetime achievement in the field, he was awarded drama.
